Cape Vidal is a beautiful coastal resort which holds the unique distinction of allowing visitors access to both the wildlife of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park as well as the marine life of the Indian Ocean coast.

The sheltered bay has a designated launch site for ski boats with excellent off-shore angling, spear fishing and snorkeling.

This family destination also offers guided walking trails around the fascinating wetlands and the Lake Bhangazi shoreline, humpback whales are seen on their northerly migration to Mozambique to calve and in summer loggerhead turtles come onto the beaches to lay their eggs.

Cape Vidal campsite features 50 campsites set into the coastal dunes, accommodating both tents and caravans, with cold water taps and barbecue facilities.

The three modern ablutions have hot and cold running water, flush toilets, showers, baths, basins and laundry and dish washing facilities.

Cape Vidal also features extensive self-catering log cabin accommodation, fuel and a shop for the convenience of guests.
