St Lucia Important Dates
Iron Age man first ruled the Eastern Shores of St Lucia and later the area was home for two tribes being the Lalas and the Tongas. They had called it CWEBENI LAS ENTLENGENI which means The lagoon of rafts. The Portuguese on the other hand called it RIO DE MEDAOS DE OURO which means The River of dowes of gold.

Mission Rocks
Travel along the Cape Vidal road for approximately 14km then turn right onto the gravel road. Along the way to Mission Rocks you can stop at the lookout point from where you can look down on the Eastern and Western shores.
